Lizbeth R. Jimenez is a published author, entrepreneur, and aspiring actress from New York City. Her love for art is apparent in all that she does; from her manga series, Sacred, to her Youtube channel (www.Youtube.com/MyMangakaLIFE), her creativity shines through. She studied fine art in the High School of Art & Design, and attended college in the School of Visual Arts. Her art was displayed in the United Nations (2005) and Sacred has earned her the attention of a few sites such as AnimeNews Network.com (2012). She was interviewed by the FUSE Network (aired early 2008) and later by Pierre Bernard of the Conan O'Brian Show (2007) where he purchased her artbook (collaboration with fiance' and fellow artist Marc Ulloa) and she was filmed drawing his portrait. She can also be seen in a few independent films such as Murder Avenue (2010) and I'm Trying (but I Don't Know How) (2010).
While diligently working on Sacred, Lizbeth is studying to become an art professor and her love of teaching has inspired her to create her Youtube channel called "My Mangaka LIFE" which currently has 100,000 subscribers. Word of her growing art career has resulted in invitations to a number of galleries, conventions, and universities to hold art demonstrations, author signings, and panels about her journey as an American who creates manga for a living. She's also had the pleasure of working with many nonprofit organizations to create educational manga-inspired comics-- such as Abolitionishta! which is a collaboration with non-profit Freedom Ladder whose mission is to help victims of human trafficking.
